Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Coder I (Radiation
Oncology).
Key Responsibilities
Verify and sequence ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes from patient medical
records for submission
Review and submit a specified number of encounters per day related
to evaluation & management and procedures
Maintain current knowledge of coding guidelines, government
regulations, and participate in continuing education activities
Required Qualifications
An active AHIMA or AAPC credential
One year of relevant coding experience
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS
code sets
Ability to code at a 95% accuracy threshold
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
