  • Job Details
  • General job duties include caring for ventilated patients, initiating and titrating IV drips (vasopressors, sedation, and paralytics), assisting with intubations and line placement.
  • Monitoring critically ill patients with primary diagnoses of sepsis, respiratory failure (acute and chronic), renal failure (acute and chronic), myocardial infarctions, pulmonary embolism, pneumonia.
  • This is a mixed acuity unit with both ICU and progressive patients.
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum 1.5 years of ICU experience required, 2 years ICU experience preferred.
    • Must have a valid IN RN License.
      • Schedule Information
      • Three 12 hour shifts per week.
      • Weekends are the greater need; weekend-only assignments could be created.
      • Traditional weekday plus weekend assignment rotations available.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Onboarding through workforce development to review policies and obtain EPIC training and access. One day of unit onboarding.

          • Mixed acuity unit - main patients will be PCU with 1:3 ratio, less likely ICU patients with 1:2 ratio.
          • Travel experience preferred.
          • Level 1 or Level 2 facility experience preferred.
          • Position will float to ALL ICU, PCU and Medsurg units with a 1:3 max ratio.
