  • Job Details
  • Need an experienced PICU RN to take high acuity PICU patients.
  • PALS certified.
  • Prefer ECMO trained nurse.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must be AHA BLS certified.
    • Must be AHA ACLS certified.
    • Pharmacology 1,2 exam required.
    • NIH Certification required.
    • Exam and answer key found in Document Library. Agency is required to give and grade the test. Score needs to be 90% or higher with only 2 attempts (Ascension EKG Exam).
    • Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation completed with attestation uploaded by the Agency.
      • Schedule Information
      • Work every other weekend
      • Christmas Eve and Christmas Night shift
      • New Years Eve and Day-Night shift
        • Additional Details
        • Nursing only Michigan hospitals need their licensure verified through LARA not NURSYs but you will still upload here.
        • Nursys quick confirm verifications should be completed for all APRN, RNs and LPN/LVNs.
        • Nursys should be used to review ALL license activity in all states, not just the state of placement.
        • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals. Copy of the physical license is not required.
        • Ascension Unit Specific Checklist optional for Onboarding, but needs to be uploaded by our Ascension unit leader within a week.
